Canada PR Updates is committed to accuracy. Immigration rules change frequently, and we take corrections seriously. This page explains how we handle updates, corrections, and reader reports.
Last Checked Dates
Every article on Canada PR Updates includes a “Last Checked” date — the date we last verified the article against its official source(s). Immigration rules can change between that date and when you read the article. Always verify at the official source before acting on any information.
When We Issue Corrections
We issue a correction or update when:
- A factual error is identified in a published article
- Official government information has changed and our article no longer reflects current policy
- A linked official source has been updated, moved, or archived
- A reader reports a verifiable error with an official source reference
How We Handle Updates
- Minor corrections (typos, broken links, formatting) are fixed without a public notice
- Factual corrections are noted in the article with the correction date and a brief description of what changed
- Major updates — policy changes, new draw results, updated processing times — are noted in an Update History section at the bottom of the article and the Last Checked date is updated
How to Report an Error
If you believe an article contains an error or is out of date, please use our Contact page. Include:
- The article title or URL
- The specific information you believe is incorrect or outdated
- A link to the official government source that contradicts it, if available
We review all correction requests. We do not respond to requests for personal immigration case advice or individual pathway reviews.
Reader-Reported Issues
We appreciate readers who spot errors or flag outdated information. If you report an issue that leads to a correction, we will update the article accordingly. We may not be able to reply individually to every report.
